Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SnapLineups (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, apps, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account data. Email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and email verification status (email/password or supported social sign-in).
Billing data. Subscription tier, status, Stripe customer and subscription IDs, and related billing metadata stored in our systems. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
League and roster data. League IDs, team identifiers, franchise or roster selections, sync configuration (such as MFL host and session tokens), roster entries, and related fantasy metadata needed to sync and optimize lineups.
Usage and technical data. App interactions, device/browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, diagnostic logs, and performance metrics. Installable app (PWA) usage may include standard browser storage.
Communications. Messages you send to support or legal email addresses.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service
- Authenticate you and enforce plan entitlements
- Sync leagues, generate projections and lineup recommendations
- Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
- Send transactional email (verification, billing, security notices)
- Monitor abuse, debug failures, and meet legal obligations
3. How we share information
We share information with:
- Service providers that process data for us (for example hosting, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and error/monitoring vendors), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- League platforms only as needed to authenticate and sync the leagues you connect (subject to those platforms’ terms)
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued confidentiality
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and basic analytics needed to run the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may break login or paid features.
For analytics we use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to record the pages you visit and the actions you take, linked to a pseudonymous account identifier rather than your name or email address. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
5. Retention
We retain account, league, and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal and accounting requirements. Optimizer run records and similar operational data may be deleted or expired on a shorter schedule.
6. Security
We use industry-standard controls appropriate to our size and risk profile (encryption in transit, access-controlled cloud services, and secret management for credentials). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your choices
- Update profile details in the app where available
- Manage or cancel billing via the Stripe customer portal
- Disconnect leagues or delete your account where the product provides those controls
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion subject to legal limits
8. Children
The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority where you live). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. International users
We operate primarily from the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in-product or by email when practical.
